I do not know what took GS so long to notice the debt problem (see https://therabidcapitalist.com/2023/08/03/another-looming-debt-crisis-and-an-investment-opportunity/).
On Monday they reported that efforts to reduce inflation may conflict with high debt levels, increasing the volume of loans at risk of delinquency and default.
Well, better late than never.
