Amazon continued to deliver great results in the third quarter.
Amazon’s third quarter results were magnificent. It reported earnings per share of $0.95 compared to the average analyst estimate of $0.60. AWS and advertising made solid contributions to revenue growth.
The company raised its revenue guidance for the fourth quarter. The Magnificent Seven appear to be morphing into a case of the haves and have-nots. The assignment of each of the Seven to either of these two categories will determine the extent of damage to the S & P 500 and the risk of a market correction.
