The current issue’s article entitled “Invest Like Private Equity in 2025 And Get Paid 12.3% Annually” extolled the current yield and capital appreciation benefits of Blue Owl Capital Corp. (OBDC), Capital Southwest Corp. (CSWC) and FS KKR Capital Corp. (FSK).
Forbes, like the Rabid Capitalist, recognized the high current dividends and capital appreciation provided by BDCs on a tax-advantaged basis. BDCs that distribute at least ninety percent of their taxable earnings to shareholders in dividends are not subject to federal income taxes.
