Tesla posted a noteworthy disappointment in its annual vehicle sales, which fell for the first time in more than a decade. Its performance in no way supports its valuation.
Sales fell below analysts’ expectations and historical results. Tesla sold 1.79 million vehicles in 2024, falling below the 2023 tally by approximately twenty thousand. In the fourth quarter, it delivered 495,570 vehicles, missing the 512,277 estimated by analysts.
